Second Thought
Apology accepted. Access denied.

Letting a wrongdoer become a repeat offender, with you being at the receiving end all this while, doesn't make you a wise human being. Under the pressure of putting that humane persona out there, you might go on with your niceties and keep forgiving the felony committed by the same person again and again. But be ready to be destroyed, and ridiculed by those in the gallery whom you have been trying to please so far.
Some people have the emotional intelligence of such a mammoth proportion that they use it to their advantage to exploit their poor prey. The prolific liars, the charming cheaters, the talented excuse-makers- all part of our lives, more or less. They are ruthless. You are vulnerable. That's how the rampage continues. Unless your cognitive intelligence detects the predator's lethal arsenal of well-rounded acumen, there's no mercy on you. Spot the offender early and take a strong call.
Quite often we remain hopelessly optimistic that those who keep annoying, troubling, and even harming us, would stop. Like most habits, these creatures' habit of reaching high every time after scoring, dies hard. I have learned that no one would come to my rescue later unless I call the shots when it's due. Accepting apologies a couple of times probably is a nice thought. But I believe, thereafter it's time for you to give the devil a piece of your mind. Better still, deny access, for your peace of mind.
